About Us
Cedar Houser:
Co-Founder
Cedar spent over 5 years in Oregon and British Columbia diving deep into the world of survival and primitve skills through close mentorship. She is now a full time Alaskan resident and focuses on flint knapping, fire making, naturalist education, plant medicine, and survival skills. She has a fondness for early human history, grit, and hard work. Cedar believes that nature connection and community is the means of healing and life long happiness for all.
Cody Williams:
Co-Founder
Born and raised on Prince of Wales Island, Cody is Alaskan native; part Tlingit, part Iñupiaq and has grown up on a subsistence lifestyle, learning from his elders. He focuses on hunting, fishing, trapping, animal tracking, hide tanning, and fur sewing. He has a fondness for cultural arts and carrying on his families traditions. Cody believes in keeping this knowledge alive and accessible by passing on his skills to the next generation.
